Amarin says pre-clinical nasal lorazepam study successful; working with Elan
Amarin Corp PLC said it has successfully completed a preclinical study using a nasal formulation of lorazepam and is now working with a subsidiary of Elan Corp PLC to prepare for human trials.
The lorazepam formulation uses Elan's technology and is being developed for the outpatient treatment of emergency seizures in epilepsy patients.
